During the visit, the presidential envoy in the Naryn region, Nurbek Satarov, presented information on current initiatives in key sectors of the region.
Satarov noted that special attention is being paid to the development of irrigation infrastructure. Currently, the construction of the "Tugol-Sai" reservoir in the Jumgal district and the "Shamshy" reservoir in the Kochkor district, as well as the "Kulanak" canal in the Naryn district, is underway. These projects are aimed at increasing the area of irrigated land and improving efficiency in agriculture.
In addition, projects are being implemented to improve access to clean drinking water for the population. As part of various programs, dozens of settlements have been covered, allowing for a clean water supply level of over 85 percent.
In the construction sector, the construction and major renovation of social facilities, such as schools, sports halls, and administrative buildings, are actively underway. Some of them have already been put into operation, while others will be completed in the near future. Last year, 15 new facilities were opened, including six schools, one sports hall, and eight enterprises. Currently, the construction of 46 facilities is ongoing.
New investment projects in the energy sector are also being implemented, including the construction of hydroelectric power stations, as well as solar and wind power plants, aimed at developing the energy potential of the region and creating new jobs.
Sadyr Japarov generally supported the proposed projects, emphasizing the need for systematic and proactive development of the Naryn region, which should bring specific and tangible results for the population in the near future.
The president instructed to focus efforts on the development of irrigation and watering infrastructure as a key element ensuring food security and sustainable growth of the agricultural sector, as well as to ensure the completion of previously started projects.
In terms of road infrastructure, the task has been set to ensure the construction and reconstruction of roads at least at the level of last year, adhering to all deadlines and quality standards.
Regarding the construction sector, the president listened to information about all projects with long implementation periods, including those that have been ongoing for more than ten years. The head of state emphasized the need for strict adherence to deadlines and set the task of completing all such projects within two years under the personal responsibility of the leaders.
