Evans Eshun, the self-proclaimed prophet better known as Ebo Noah, recently announced the postponement of the predicted flood, which he had forecasted for December 25, 2025. However, shortly after this, he was detained by the police on suspicion of fraud.

The prophet claimed that he received a new revelation: the ten arks he built would not be able to accommodate everyone wishing to be saved, so God needed more time to allow people to build additional vessels. Ebo Noah also stated that he managed to "convince God" not to destroy the world, thanks to his prayers.

In the process of collecting donations for the construction of the arks, Noah convinced his followers of the inevitability of the end of the world. However, it turned out that he used the collected funds to purchase a luxury Mercedes-Benz car, which raised suspicions among law enforcement about his intentions.

The detention occurred around the New Year and was the result of an investigation into his activities aimed at misleading and obtaining financial gain. Despite his claims of living a modest life, videos appeared on social media showing him showcasing his new expensive car. The authorities of Ghana are urging citizens to be cautious and not to fall for the tricks of such fraudsters.

It is worth noting that his prophecies about the flood, allegedly communicated to him by the Lord Himself, led to serious consequences for those who believed in them.

The mass panic caused many citizens to abandon their homes, jobs, and studies, spending money to reach the construction site of the "arks," which created significant social tension.

The situation could have been understood if Ebo Noah had acknowledged his mistakes and publicly apologized. However, he violated Ghana's laws against the dissemination of false prophecies that incite fear and panic.

Having broken the law, he must be held accountable for his actions.

It is known that Evans Eshun admitted his guilt and expressed remorse, claiming that he did all this "for attention and popularity."

Meanwhile, we continue to monitor the developments and await the results of the psychiatric examination.
