According to information from the capital's police, the organizers of closed parties have been detained in Bishkek. As per data received on January 6, law enforcement agencies learned that private events were taking place in the city, after which participants posted photos and videos on open platforms such as social networks and Telegram.
"As a result of the conducted activities, one of the establishments where these parties were held was closed," the official statement noted. "Fines were also imposed on the organizers under Article 109 of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the distribution of pornographic materials. Fines were assigned to T. I. (born in 2002), I. A. (born in 1996), O. G. (born in 2001), R. D. (born in 1999), and J. A. (born in 2001)."
Each of the violators was fined 10,000 soms.
Law enforcement agencies also appealed to citizens, parents, and youth, urging them to adhere to public norms and legislation. They reminded that participation in the distribution of pornographic materials, including online content and messengers, may entail legal responsibility.
