Currently, our athletes are training at the Baga Bayan Sports Complex, which is managed by the Ministry of Defense.

Mongolia has been participating in the Paralympic Games since 2006, starting with the competitions held in Turin. This will be the sixth time athletes from our country have been sent to the Winter Paralympic Games.

This will be the first Paralympic Games for Selenge, while Dashdorj and Tserenpuntsag will compete for the second time, and Ganbold will participate in these games for the fourth time.

Selenge became the first woman from Mongolia to qualify for the Paralympic Games. She won a bronze medal at the Asian Cup in cross-country skiing in Japan this year. The gold medal went to Chinese skier Shang Yilin, and the silver to Japanese athlete Sato Nana.

The XIV Winter Paralympic Games will begin on March 6 and will last for nine days. A total of 665 athletes will compete for 79 sets of medals in six different sports. The opening ceremony will take place at the Verona Arena (Arena di Verona), an ancient Roman amphitheater in Verona.
