The implementation of this project will reduce the travel time of bus routes, which in turn will improve the quality of passenger service and increase the average speed of public transport.
Trams will run at 5-minute intervals, and the travel time from the National Archive to Sukhbaatar Square will be 37 minutes. The travel time from the Zunjin stop in the dacha area to the square will be 29 minutes.
Additionally, the creation of an efficient and sustainable public transport network will significantly reduce traffic congestion in the city center, as well as decrease the time residents spend on daily commutes. The introduction of environmentally friendly and energy-efficient technologies in Ulaanbaatar will help lower air pollution and noise pollution levels.
