- The construction of the Rheinmetall ammunition factory in Ukraine has still not begun. According to Defense Express, there have been no significant changes in the last 2.5 years. Initially, it was planned that the factory would start operating by the summer of 2026, but it is now expected that the launch will be postponed until 2027.
- Russian forces struck Kharkiv and the surrounding region on the night of January 18, using aerial bombs, missiles, and drones. As a result of the attack on a private house in Kharkiv, a 20-year-old woman was killed. The Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Khmelnytskyi, and Odesa regions were also affected on the night of January 18. Emergency power outages were implemented in the Kyiv region.

In the village of Holovchyno, a drone also attacked a car in a parking lot, resulting in one person being injured.
- On the night of January 18, Ukrainian drones attacked North Ossetia. In Beslan, debris from one of the downed drones fell on the roof of a residential building, injuring three people, including two children.
