According to Dosmambetov, the new structure is expected to employ at least ten specialists. The main task of the department will be the development and implementation of digital technologies in medicine.
He also mentioned that a working meeting was recently held with the Minister of Digitalization, during which new areas of joint work were identified. It is expected that the implementation of these initiatives will begin in 2026-2027.
One of the key tasks will be the integration of telemedicine and the electronic timekeeping system into a single platform. The Minister of Health noted that many processes in healthcare are still not automated, which creates serious problems.
As an example, Dosmambetov cited the oncology service, where there is no unified registry of cancer patients. This complicates the acquisition of complete information about the detection of diseases, their stages, and the diagnostic process.
The Minister emphasized that the creation of digital registries and accounting systems will help organize the industry and improve the quality of medical services.
