The Ministry of Health Discussed the Creation of a Unified Laboratory System

The Minister of Health Kanybek Dosmambetov held a meeting to discuss key issues related to the formation of the National Laboratory Service and the improvement of medical waste management.

The main subject of the conversation was the creation of a unified and effective laboratory diagnostics system aimed at improving the quality and accessibility of medical care. The proposed model involves the establishment of a national laboratory diagnostics framework, which will engage both state and private organizations operating under unified standards of quality, reporting, and management.

The meeting participants also addressed issues concerning the management of the laboratory service, the implementation of international quality standards, digital monitoring, rational resource utilization, and enhancing the reliability of research results.

Additionally, measures to improve medical waste management were discussed, including strengthening state control and applying modern technologies for disinfection and disposal. Experts presented their recommendations for standardizing laboratory operations and the medical waste management system.

Dosmambetov emphasized that the development of the laboratory service and effective management of medical waste are key aspects of state policy in the healthcare sector, as they have a direct impact on disease prevention, timely diagnosis, and the protection of citizens' health.

Relevant departments were instructed to continue working on improving these areas and to implement the planned tasks in stages.
