Starting from April 1, 2026, a significant increase in salaries for doctors, teachers, and cultural workers is expected in Kyrgyzstan — by at least 100%. This was announced at a recent meeting chaired by the Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev.
Additionally, he noted that from October 1, 2025, there are also plans to increase salaries for certain categories of state and municipal employees, which will be no less than 50%.
Kasymaliev emphasized that the implementation of these measures will require significant financial investments. He also pointed out that in 2025, the Customs and Tax Services were able to exceed the planned revenue targets for the budget.
