The Customs Service contributed over 156 billion soms to Kyrgyzstan's budget.
In his address, he emphasized the importance of customs authorities in ensuring the economic security of the country. They play an invaluable role in protecting national interests and increasing the revenues of the republican budget. According to him, there has been a significant transformation in the Customs Service recently, moving from a traditional control system to modern service management methods.

Kasymaliev focused on the digitalization and optimization of procedures. As a result of the implementation of information technologies and the revision of business processes, the average processing time for customs operations has significantly decreased, and the number of control stages for participants in foreign economic activity has been reduced by almost half.
According to the head of the Cabinet, a revenue plan of 151.7 billion soms has been set for the Customs Service in 2025, which is 23.2% more than in 2024. By December 30, revenues had already reached 156.6 billion soms, exceeding the established plan by 3.2%, or 4.9 billion soms more than the planned amount.
It is expected that by the end of the year, revenues will amount to about 157 billion soms.
It was also noted that the workload on employees has significantly increased: while about 113 thousand customs declarations were processed in 2021, their number exceeded 630 thousand in 2024. This increase occurred without a rise in the number of employees, thanks to the implementation of digital and automated solutions.
Kasymaliev also mentioned the successes of the law enforcement activities of the customs authorities, which, by applying risk-oriented approaches, have become more effective in identifying violations and have made a significant contribution to reducing the shadow economy.
