Kasymaliev also highlighted several factors contributing to the increase in budget revenues. For example, economic growth: if in 2020 the country's gross domestic product was 8.3 billion US dollars, by 2025 it had already exceeded 22.6 billion dollars. Improvements in tax administration have allowed for a fourfold increase in tax revenues and a sixfold increase in customs revenues. There is also an observed growth in non-tax revenues by 8-9 times, which is related to activity in construction, trade, services, and agriculture. Additionally, revenues from the activities of "Kumtor" have increased due to rising global gold prices and exceeded 5 billion US dollars.
“Increasing the salaries of social sector workers is one of the most important tasks set by the president for this year,” noted the chairman of the cabinet.
Kasymaliev emphasized that the Tax Service plays a key role in achieving this task, as well as in finding resources and ensuring funding for major infrastructure projects and significant events.
The meeting discussed issues related to the growth of tax arrears and the increase in overpayments for value-added tax and other taxes. The head of the government demanded urgent solutions to these problems.
