His career began in the mid-1990s with work in manufacturing, where he progressed from a regular specialist to commercial director. Since the late 1990s, Ulugbek has been one of the founders and a board member of Alubond Composite Material and Roison Electronics.
During the same period, he started developing projects in real estate development, facilitated by his work at Murad Buildings.
In the 2000s, Ulugbek took on large-scale projects, including those with international participation.
After gaining experience at Renaissance Investment, in 2020 he, along with partners, founded the insurance company Semurg Insurance, where he joined the supervisory board. Semurg Insurance entered the market as an independent player, focusing on innovations in insurance and adherence to international risk management standards.
As EU Reporter emphasizes, a unique feature of the company is its separation from banks, which distinguishes Semurg Insurance from traditional business models in Central Asia. Under Ulugbek's leadership, socially-oriented products were developed.
Thus, Semurg Insurance was the first in Uzbekistan to introduce an agricultural insurance program that covers not only financial risks but also the harvest itself. The popularity of the program is explained by the climatic conditions of Uzbekistan and all of Central Asia, including droughts and frosts.
The development of a unique offering for the national market was made possible through collaboration with international partners such as the German InsuResilience Fund and the Swiss Swiss Re.
The entrepreneur implements numerous eco-friendly programs through the company Eco Carbon Services (ECS), which he founded. ECS helps businesses assess environmental risks and reduce their carbon footprint, as well as participates in greening and other projects, relying on international experience and Western standards.
Ulugbek's support for innovations goes beyond "green" technologies. In 2021, he became an active participant in the establishment of the venture fund Semurg VC, aimed at supporting tech entrepreneurship. Thanks to the fund, young entrepreneurs receive not only funding but also access to the necessary resources for growth.
The fund also implements various programs aimed at optimizing business processes in startup companies.
Ulugbek Mirzamukhamedov is currently a highly qualified businessman with extensive management experience.
