The changes made concern Article 311 of the KR Code on Offenses, according to which the fines for illegal movement of goods have been increased: for individuals — from 10,000 to 20,000 soms, for legal entities — from 28,000 to 65,000 soms.

In the case of repeated offenses within a year, the fines are also increased: for individuals — from 20,000 to 40,000 soms, for legal entities — from 65,000 to 100,000 soms. Additionally, confiscation of goods is provided for.

The State Tax Service has noted an increase in the number of cases of goods being imported into Kyrgyzstan without the necessary accompanying documents, especially in passenger cars, in order to avoid control procedures at the "Ak-Zhol" goods accounting point at the border with Kazakhstan.

This section records attempts to import various goods, including cosmetics, dietary supplements, medications, tobacco products, mobile phones, vapes, and electronic cigarettes without accounting.

In connection with the changes made to the KR Code on Offenses, the Tax Service strongly recommends that taxpayers strictly adhere to the requirements of the legislation to avoid liability and fines provided for by current legislation.
