This hydropower plant will have a capacity of 27 MW.
Currently, the following construction stages have been completed:
- the construction of an 8-kilometer temporary road leading to the construction site has been completed.
- a land plot has been designated for the construction of a water intake facility on the territory of the Papan reservoir.
- the procedure for land allocation and transformation has begun to create a production hub, which includes the hydropower plant building and an open switchgear with a voltage of 110 kV (OSG-110 kV).
- technical conditions for electricity supply during construction have been developed and approved.
- currently, issues regarding land allocation for the installation of supports for the overhead power line VL-110 kV from the Papan HPP to the VL-110 kV "Uzlova - Besh-Moynok" are being considered.
“In addition, the development of project and estimate documentation is ongoing, a preliminary construction plan has been established, permissions for access to the territory of the Papan reservoir have been obtained, and engineering surveys are continuing,” the Ministry reported.
