At the round table organized by "Gazprom Kyrgyzstan," the company's management met with the head of the Union of Builders of the Kyrgyz Republic and representatives of construction organizations. The main topic of discussion was the design standards for gas pipelines, in particular, the document SN KR 42-01:2020, which was approved in 2021 by the State Agency for Architecture, Construction, and Housing and Communal Services.

According to these standards, the installation of gas meters is permitted in kitchens, loggias, balconies, individual corridors, and common areas, including stairwells and lobbies. Previously, gas meters were installed exclusively in apartments, which created difficulties in reading the measurements and complicated the work of gas services in case of leaks.

The Deputy General Director for Economics and Finance of "Gazprom Kyrgyzstan," Arzymat Aldayev, stated: "In the capital, there are still 4,500 apartments whose owners do not report gas readings. Our inspectors have not had access there for two years. There used to be even more such apartments. Therefore, we proposed to install meters in common areas." He also noted that starting in 2023, the company will begin implementing "smart" meters with telemetry that can automatically transmit readings.

Construction companies received recommendations to install devices with telemetry and thermal correction based on the unique software of "Gazprom Kyrgyzstan" in apartment buildings with individual heating. If gas is used only for cooking, the installation of mechanical gas meters without telemetry and thermal correction is allowed. In any case, installation is possible both in apartments and in common areas. "We insist on the unification of meters. All outdated gas meters should be replaced with modern intelligent devices with telemetry," emphasized Aldayev.

During the discussion, technical standards for gas supply to apartment buildings, the use of gas-consuming appliances, and safety issues regarding gas boilers and other equipment were also addressed. The Chairman of the Union of Builders of the Kyrgyz Republic, Cholponbek Akmatov, assured that construction companies are ready to strictly adhere to the requirements of gas supply standards. The parties agreed on the necessity of regular exchanges of opinions on issues of gasification and construction.
