In the village of Taldy-Suu, the regional leader handed over the keys to four units of special equipment acquired on a leasing basis: a tractor of the brand "Zoomlion RN1104," a wheeled excavator "XCMG XE150WB," a motor grader "XCMG GR1905T," and a specialized garbage truck.
The new equipment will be used in road construction and repair, land planning, as well as in infrastructure and communal works in the territory of the Pamir-Alai rural municipality. The presidential representative also familiarized himself with the technical condition of the machines and instructed to ensure their targeted and long-term use.
A new bridge over the Kyzyl-Suu River was opened in the village of Taldy-Suu. The length of the structure is 54 meters, and the width is 4 meters. Funds for the project were allocated from the development fund and the local budget. The total estimated cost of the facility amounted to 23 million 952 thousand 240 soms.
The Pamir-Alai rural district was established during the administrative-territorial reform in 2024, with its center in the village of Sary-Tash.
This is a high-altitude region with elevations of several thousand meters above sea level, featuring picturesque valleys, pastures, the Kyzyl-Suu rivers, and snow-capped peaks. It is one of the most remote and sparsely populated areas, where residents engage in livestock breeding and agriculture. Pamir-Alai is considered one of the promising areas for infrastructure development in the country.
Pamir-Alai is popular among climbers (ascents to Lenin Peak), trekkers, and enthusiasts of ethnographic and eco-tourism.
