On March 17, Almambet Shykmamatov, head of the State Tax Service, held a meeting with businesspeople in Osh as part of a working trip to the Osh region. This information was provided by the STS.

Also present at the event were Deputy Head of the STS Bakyt Jienbekov, heads of local tax authorities, entrepreneurs, representatives from various sectors, and accountants.

During the meeting, organized in a "question-answer" format, participants were informed about new methods for detecting tax violations, including the analytical system "Salyk kuzot," developed to enhance transparency and efficiency in tax administration.

Additionally, the latest changes in Kyrgyzstan's tax legislation aimed at simplifying administration and reducing the burden on businesses were explained, which will create more favorable conditions for entrepreneurs.

Shykmamatov emphasized the importance of such meetings for open dialogue with the business community. They help identify current issues and gather specific proposals for their resolution. At the event, entrepreneurs had the opportunity to ask questions and receive explanations from the leadership of the tax service.

"Before making significant changes to tax legislation, it is important to conduct discussions with the business community. During today's meeting, we discussed important issues and received feedback from taxpayers," he noted.

The head of the STS stressed that while protecting state interests, it is also necessary to consider the interests of entrepreneurs. In his opinion, it is important to achieve a balance, ensuring a fair tax system without creating unnecessary barriers to doing business.

He also emphasized that tax reform should aim for mutually beneficial cooperation: on one hand, ensuring budget revenues, and on the other, creating comfortable conditions for taxpayers.

"Such an approach is only possible by establishing partnership relations between the state and business," added the head of the tax service.

As a result of the meeting, Shykmamatov, after listening to the opinions of business representatives, identified several priority tasks and assignments for improving interaction with entrepreneurs and further enhancing tax administration.
