The find was made back in 2013-2014, sparking interest among both local residents and specialists. However, due to the threat of theft, the stone was buried. Later geological studies established that it is not jade but a type of jadeite, which nevertheless does not diminish its scientific and tourist value.
This find is considered a potential tourist attraction that could draw the attention of travelers. Local residents have repeatedly suggested opening access to the stone and using it as a natural landmark.
At a meeting of the district administration on January 13, a decision was made to officially open the stone for tourist visits. On the same day, a winter festival "Ak Ilbiris" is planned to take place in the Chon-Kyzyl-Suu gorge, at the Ak-Tash pasture. The implementation of the project was entrusted to the Orgochor rural administration.
Currently, the municipal enterprise "Ishtirman" is carrying out preparatory work with the involvement of heavy machinery.

Jadeite is a general name for a group of minerals similar to jade but with lower quality, often featuring cracks and dull coloring. This material is used for crafting items such as figurines and vases, unlike jade, which is classified as a precious stone.
