Yulia Tymoshenko, who holds the position of head of the "Batkivshchyna" faction in the Verkhovna Rada, has come under suspicion for bribing deputies in order to manipulate their votes. This was reported by Ukrainian media, noting that she has been served with a corresponding notification.

According to a representative of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, Olga Postolyuk, investigative authorities have gathered sufficient evidence to bring charges. It is also noted that around 20 deputies from various factions are under investigation for possibly receiving funds in exchange for supporting certain legislative initiatives.

Tymoshenko has denied the accusations and characterized her persecution as a "political order."

Additionally, she reported on searches conducted in her party's office.

On her Facebook page, she spoke about the ongoing investigative actions throughout the night. "They found nothing, so they only took my work phones, parliamentary documents, and personal belongings, the information about which is fully reflected in the official declaration," she noted.

Yulia Tymoshenko, the leader of the All-Ukrainian Union "Batkivshchyna," has served as Prime Minister of Ukraine twice: in 2005 and from 2007 to 2010. She was one of the organizers of the "Orange Revolution" in 2004 alongside Viktor Yushchenko. Tymoshenko has also run for the presidency of Ukraine three times: in 2010, 2014, and 2019.

During Viktor Yanukovych's presidency, several criminal cases were initiated against her. In August 2011, she was arrested, and in October of the same year, she was sentenced to 7 years for exceeding her authority in connection with gas contracts with Russia signed in January 2009. Tymoshenko was released in February 2014 during the events on Maidan.
