The VI World Nomad Games are scheduled from August 31 to September 6 in Kyrgyzstan. The opening ceremony will be held in Bishkek at the new "Bishkek Arena" stadium, which accommodates 51,000 spectators, on the opening day, August 31. The concluding part and main events of the games will take place at Issyk-Kul.
According to Moldazhiyev, on September 1, all participants will be transported to Cholpon-Ata, where accommodation will be organized, and the official start of the games is set for September 2, concluding on September 6.
Four locations have been chosen for the games in Cholpon-Ata: the hippodrome, the Gazprom complex, the cultural center "Rukh Ordo" named after Ch. Aitmatov, and the Kychyn Gorge.
The program of the games covers eight main areas, including national games of various peoples, horse racing, equestrian competitions, national wrestling styles, traditional strength sports, intellectual competitions, archery, and hunting with falcons and dogs.
As noted by the director of the State Agency, the VI World Nomad Games will feature 43 types of traditional and national sports.
