Testing of driverless trains has been launched in the Moscow metro. At the initial stage, all trips will be made without passengers; a driver will be present in the cabin to monitor the operation of the systems and ensure safety.

The first trips with passengers are scheduled for 2027, and the opening of the first line of the driverless metro is expected by 2030.

A driverless tram "Lion Cub-Moscow" is already being tested in Moscow, and modern traffic management systems have been implemented. Delivery services using robots are being developed, tests of autonomous boats are being conducted, and a "digital twin" of the city has been created. In addition, an experiment has been carried out for year-round cleaning of five city parks using robotics, and robotic solutions are actively being implemented in the fields of healthcare, retail, and logistics.
