The Kremlin announced the holding of a new round of trilateral negotiations on the situation in Ukraine on February 1 in Abu Dhabi. According to BBC News, the information came from Dmitry Peskov, the official representative of the President of Russia.

Peskov did not delve into details, emphasizing that "discussing the nuances publicly will only harm the negotiation process," reports RIA Novosti.

Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky also mentioned the planned negotiations for February 1 earlier.

“We have tentatively discussed the possibility of a meeting of teams on Sunday. If we can expedite the meeting, it would be wonderful. Ukraine is ready to discuss and agree on all important issues,” he stated in his evening address on January 26.

The first round of trilateral discussions involving the USA, Russia, and Ukraine took place in Abu Dhabi on January 23 and 24. All parties noted the positive and constructive nature of the meeting.
