Today, February 10, President Sadyr Japarov signed a decree known as "On Measures to Improve the State Security System of the Kyrgyz Republic." This was reported by the press service of the President's administration.

According to the new decree, the following provisions are established:1. A State Security Service is being created under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, which will be formed on the basis of the 9th Service of the State Committee for National Security.

2. This service will be a special body directly subordinate to the President and responsible for ensuring the safety of protected individuals and facilities within the framework of its powers defined by the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.

We remind you that on February 10, Sadyr Japarov signed a decree according to which Kamchybek Tashiev was relieved of his duties as Deputy Prime Minister and head of the State Committee for National Security. Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov became the acting head of the SCNS.
