According to the new decree, the following provisions are established:1. A State Security Service is being created under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, which will be formed on the basis of the 9th Service of the State Committee for National Security.
2. This service will be a special body directly subordinate to the President and responsible for ensuring the safety of protected individuals and facilities within the framework of its powers defined by the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
3. It is established that:
- the appointment and dismissal of the head of the State Security Service will be carried out by the President;
- the deputies of the head will be appointed on the recommendation of the head and will also be dismissed by the President.
5. The President will approve the regulations of the Service, as well as its staffing schedule and structure.
6. The Cabinet of Ministers is instructed to:
- bring its decisions in line with this decree;
- take necessary measures arising from the decree.
We remind you that on February 10, Sadyr Japarov signed a decree according to which Kamchybek Tashiev was relieved of his duties as Deputy Prime Minister and head of the State Committee for National Security. Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov became the acting head of the SCNS. A decision was also made to dismiss three deputies of the head of the SCNS and to implement a number of other changes in the structure of state power.
