The issue of sanctions also became a topic of discussion during Kulubaev's bilateral meeting with British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan emphasized that, despite the positive dynamics of relations and the implementation of joint projects, unilateral restrictions could negatively affect the development of trade and financial ties between the two countries. The Kyrgyz side expressed its concern regarding the UK's sanctions policy and called for a more balanced and constructive approach, reaffirming its readiness for open and equal dialogue.
