Deputies noted that the rise in meat prices negatively affects the financial situation of ordinary citizens. They emphasized the need for authorized bodies to take measures to stabilize prices for meat products.
The First Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, Zhanibek Kerimaliev, reported that the ministry is constantly taking actions aimed at preventing the rise in meat prices.
“We regularly conduct raids in the markets. Over the weekend, I personally visited the capital's bazaars and spoke with entrepreneurs. Work is also underway to create social shops where meat will be sold at reduced prices. The issue of high meat prices is relevant for both Bishkek and Osh. We are addressing the logistics of delivering meat from the regions to these cities. Currently, the price situation for meat is stable,” he added.
