From February 10 to 12, 2026, Sun Weidong met with the Prime Minister of Mongolia Zandanshatar Gombojav and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Battsereg Batmunkh. Additionally, he participated in the Seventh Strategic Dialogue with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Mongolia Amartuvshin Gombosuren. The Chinese Ambassador to Mongolia Shen Minjuan also attended the events.

According to Sun Weidong, under the strategic guidance of the leaders of both countries, Chinese-Mongolian relations demonstrate positive dynamics, benefiting both peoples and contributing to the stability and development of the region.
