As Turgunbaev noted, the need for this department arose in response to modern challenges. Over the past two years, the hospital management has been developing a project for a new building and preparing documentation for the regional capital construction management, while simultaneously procuring the necessary equipment.
However, due to delays in the construction of the main facility and the urgency of the issue, a decision was made to carry out a major reconstruction of the existing emergency room. Funding for these purposes came from the budget of the Ministry of Health. "We have ensured the creation of all necessary conditions for patients brought in by ambulance. The tender for the construction work was won by the company OsOO 'Betelgeuse,' with a contract amounting to 1 million 476 thousand soms. The facility has already been put into operation," the chief physician reported.
The new department is equipped with modern medical equipment for working with critically ill patients, including a centralized oxygen system, monitors for heart activity and blood pressure, as well as a portable X-ray machine.
Turgunbaev emphasized that the opening of this specialized department allows for rapid assistance to emergency patients, significantly reducing the burden on other departments of the hospital.
