During this meeting, three main reports were discussed: the results of work in the field of economy and finance, the state of the real sector of the economy, and the development of the social sphere by 2025.
“For many years, we have sought to regulate the shadow economy, focusing on transparency and accountability. The main achievement is the limitation of corruption in fiscal structures. The results are already noticeable,” noted Sadyr Japarov.
The president emphasized that such a level of economic growth, as seen in Kyrgyzstan, is quite rare on the international stage. Usually, this is associated with rising raw material prices or the discovery of new unique deposits.
Sadyr Japarov also reminded that the average annual GDP growth rate of the country reached 10.2% over the past four years. According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), in 2024, Kyrgyzstan ranked among the top three countries with the highest real GDP growth in the world.
The president believes that the financial stability of the country has reached a new level in recent years.
“For the first time in history, Kyrgyzstan's international reserves exceeded 10 billion dollars. In 2025, reputable international rating agencies raised the country's sovereign credit rating to a level of B+,” added Sadyr Japarov.

The sovereign credit rating is an indicator that determines how capable a state is of meeting its financial obligations on time and in full, according to assessments by international rating agencies.
The B+ rating falls into the category of speculative (non-investment) levels; however, it indicates a stable ability of the country to service its debts under current conditions. At the same time, the economy remains vulnerable to external shocks and changes in the global economic situation.
