A ceremonial evening dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Muratbek Sanzyzbaiyevich Imanaliev, a renowned diplomat and public figure, was held at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.

The event included a round table on the topic "Muratbek Imanaliev: professional path and contribution to the development of the SCO," which was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the diplomatic corps, scholars, veterans of the foreign policy service, and close associates of the jubilarian.

In his video address, Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev noted that Muratbek Imanaliev deserves the title of "patriarch of Kyrgyz diplomacy," as he was the one who formed the first professional team of the foreign affairs agency of the newly established Kyrgyzstan in 1991.

Deputy Minister Almaz Imangaziev emphasized that under Imanaliev's leadership, Kyrgyzstan gained international recognition and became a member of the UN. The rector of the Diplomatic Academy, Ruslan Rakhimov, also highlighted the significant contribution of the jubilarian to the establishment of the national diplomatic school.

Congratulations to Muratbek Imanaliev were sent by heads of international organizations, including the secretaries-general of the SCO Nurlan Ermekbaev, CSTO Taalatbek Masadykov, and CIS Sergey Lebedev, who emphasized the importance of his many years of work in the field of regional cooperation.

The dean of the diplomatic corps, the ambassador of Tajikistan to Kyrgyzstan Nazirmad Alizoda, also expressed his congratulations on behalf of his colleagues.

One of the key moments of the celebration was the awarding of a named scholarship in honor of Muratbek Imanaliev to students of international relations. Guests were presented with a photo exhibition reflecting the most important stages of his career—from Minister of Foreign Affairs to leadership of the SCO.
