The agreement has been signed
In Bishkek, a meeting took place between Almasbek Abytov, the head of the Jogorku Kenesh Office, and Christopher Blair, the head of the Human Dimension Department of the OSCE Program Office. This information was provided by the parliament's press service.
During the event, an agreement was signed that involves the transfer of equipment for the establishment of an educational resource center at the Jogorku Kenesh.
Almasbek Abytov expressed gratitude for the support provided by the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek.
He noted that the new equipment will help organize online seminars with international experts, as well as conduct virtual meetings with representatives of local authorities and residents of the regions. This will create additional opportunities for dialogue, experience exchange, and engaging citizens in democratic processes.
Christopher Blair added that the opening of the educational resource center will contribute to the systematic enhancement of the professional skills of parliament staff and strengthen ties with civil society.
