In 2025, the Shopokov City Council successfully completed the implementation of over 20 socially oriented projects, with a total cost of 37.5 million soms. Funding was provided from the republican budget, as well as with the support of private companies and charitable foundations.
The speaker of the city council, Adylbek Bekbolotov, noted that among the completed activities, the following can be highlighted:
— construction of a clinic branch in the Intymak microdistrict;
— drilling of new water intake wells on Toktogul, Pobeda, and Zapadnaya streets;
— creation of a sidewalk in the Novostroyka microdistrict;
— installation of 2.6 km of new water pipes in the Yuzhny-Pereezd area;
— purchase and installation of new water pumps in the Yuzhny and Novostroyka microdistricts, as well as on Zhelezodorozhnaya and Turgeneva streets;
— asphalting of Mashinostroitel'naya street;
— acquisition of school desks for secondary school No. 2.
Additionally, Adylbek Bekbolotov reported that social assistance was provided to over 100 families, including the supply of food and school supplies. Assistance was also provided to a children's home for children with disabilities and local mosques in the city of Shopokov.
These projects are aimed at improving social infrastructure and enhancing the quality of life for residents, as well as supporting vulnerable segments of the population.
