According to the hospital director, Zhyrgalbek Tolorov, the increase in visits is related to the end of the holiday weekend and a rise in the number of people needing outpatient care.
Tolorov noted that many patients come to the hospital without referrals from family doctors and bypass them by going directly to the clinic. The highest concentration of patients is observed in the morning hours — from 09:00 to 11:00, which leads to the formation of queues. "Today there are queues, but all patients are under control: they are given tickets and directed to the necessary departments. To optimize service, we have added more staff at the registration desk — from three to four. We are monitoring the situation," he added.
According to the director, on the day the video was recorded, about 600 visits were registered at the hospital. The institution employs 630 medical workers, has the capacity to receive attached patients, and is creating additional wards. On weekends, medical staff worked without breaks.
The city administration of Osh also reported that in order to prevent the spread of acute respiratory viral infections and pneumonia, family medicine centers are operating without days off.
According to the instructions from the Ministry of Health, family medicine centers operate on the following schedule:
- on weekdays — from 08:00 to 20:00;
- on Saturday — from 08:00 to 18:00;
- on Sunday — from 08:00 to 14:00.
