On January 15, a meeting was held with the residents of the Kalmak-Kiya and Tashtak neighborhoods in Uzgen.

Present at the event were the mayor of the city, Eldos Taev, the chairman of the city council, as well as the heads of several municipal services and institutions.

During the meeting, the main focus was on social and domestic issues affecting the residents, as well as the current state of the neighborhoods and upcoming work. Problems discussed included the condition of roads, infrastructure, provision of clean drinking water, street lighting, waste disposal, irrigation channels, as well as issues of public order and sanitary cleanliness.

Eldos Taev also spoke about the work completed in 2025 and presented projects planned for 2026, emphasizing priority areas. Clear instructions were given to the heads of the relevant services for each issue discussed, along with deadlines for completion.

All suggestions and comments made by residents were recorded in the minutes and taken under control. The mayor's office promised that some issues would be resolved immediately, while more complex problems would be addressed in stages.

The meeting was held in an open dialogue format, allowing residents to ask questions to local authorities and receive answers.
