Recently, a presentation of a new edition — the "Russian-Kyrgyz Dictionary of Terms in the Field of International Relations and Diplomacy" took place at the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by the press service of the ministry.
The event was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev, the Chairman of the National Commission on the State Language and Language Policy Melis Murataliev, as well as representatives from various ministries and experts in this field.
Speaking at the presentation, Jeenbek Kulubaev emphasized the importance of this dictionary, noting that it will be useful not only among diplomats but also among a wider audience.
The minister also highlighted that this publication plays an important role in the unification and systematization of international terminology in the Kyrgyz language. He expressed hope that the dictionary will become an integral part of the work of various structures of the ministry, foreign representations, and specialized higher educational institutions.
Melis Murataliev, in turn, pointed out the necessity of popularizing the Kyrgyz language within the framework of the concept "National Spirit — Global Heights." He noted that language is one of the key attributes of state identity, alongside the flag and coat of arms.
During the event, participants also became acquainted with several digital projects:
- The "Aytıl" platform;
- The mobile application "Kyrgyzcha Oñoy";
- The portal document.gov.kg, which offers templates for official documents.
The dictionary was created in 2025 by employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic with the support of the National Commission on the State Language and the Kyrgyz Encyclopedia Center. The publication includes key terms in the field of international relations, as well as official names of countries and international organizations.
