The Cabinet has outlined priorities in the field of culture and youth policy
He emphasized that culture plays a crucial role in shaping national identity and contributes to social consolidation.
“Culture is the foundation of our national identity. We must actively support its development, encourage creative initiatives, and ensure access to cultural values for all citizens,” noted Baisalov.
Among the identified priorities are support for local programs, promotion of modern forms of art, and creation of conditions for the realization of youth potential.
“The future of the nation is youth. Government institutions must ensure the protection of the interests of the new generation and create opportunities for their comprehensive self-realization,” he added.
There will also be an emphasis on equal access for citizens from all regions to cultural services and the promotion of Kyrgyzstan's historical and cultural heritage on the international stage.
The Ministry of Culture has been tasked with intensifying work in the field of publishing, modernizing library infrastructure by creating community and coworking centers, building modern cultural centers, and launching an international scholarship program for young performers.
