Kyrgyzstan strengthens ties with China's Shandong province

Important negotiations took place in the Chinese city of Jinan, attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov and the Secretary of the Shandong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, Lin Wu, as reported by the government press service.

During the meeting, the high level of strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and China was emphasized. The participants discussed ways to develop interregional cooperation, focusing on the significance of ties between Kyrgyz regions and Shandong.

Edil Baisalov raised issues related to the activation of practical cooperation, including the establishment of new production capacities in Kyrgyzstan to support small and medium-sized businesses.

He noted that thanks to achievements over the past five years under the leadership of President Sadyr Japarov, Kyrgyzstan is entering a new phase of its socio-economic development. "The country is now faced with the task of mass implementation of modern production technologies, opening enterprises focused on exports, and creating jobs for youth. We are developing new state programs in this area and intend to actively utilize the experience and cooperation with China," Baisalov stated.

Lin Wu, for his part, confirmed the province's readiness to expand cooperation, develop investment relations, launch new initiatives in the industrial sector, and enhance humanitarian exchanges.

As a result of the meeting, further steps were defined to strengthen interregional interaction, and plans for the implementation of the agreements reached were agreed upon.

Additionally, during the visit, the Kyrgyz delegation familiarized themselves with the operations of several leading machine engineering enterprises in the province.
