Donald Trump 'proclaimed' himself acting president of Venezuela
In his post on the Truth Social platform, Donald Trump stated that he holds the position of acting president of Venezuela. He accompanied this statement with a screenshot that allegedly came from "Wikipedia" and indicates his supposed role in the government of the Bolivarian Republic starting from January 2026.
At the same time, Trump also pointed out his actual position, noting that he is the 47th president of the United States.

It is important to note that since January 4, 2023, the temporary powers of the president of Venezuela have been held by Delcy Rodriguez, as reported in the news.

It became known that loud explosions occurred in Caracas on the night of January 3. As a result of a special operation conducted by the U.S. Air Force, Nicolás Maduro and his wife were detained. They were taken out of the country and placed in one of the prisons in New York.

Nicolás Maduro faces serious charges, including leading the criminal organization Cartel de los Soles, which is considered a terrorist organization in the U.S. He is also accused of colluding with Colombian drug cartels and trafficking Venezuelan diplomatic passports that provide cover for drug trafficking, as well as using criminal gangs to eliminate competitors.
