The Prime Minister of Mongolia will participate in the World Economic Forum in Davos

In 2026, the World Economic Forum (WEF) will take place from January 19 to 23. Representatives of the political and business elite will discuss issues of international security and economic challenges, as well as the topic of artificial intelligence. The main theme of the event is declared as "The Spirit of Dialogue".

Today, January 19, 2026, the Prime Minister of Mongolia, Zandan Shatar Gombojav, has departed from the country to participate in several sessions of the forum, including the "High-Level Meeting on Global Tourism," "Enhancing the Dynamics of Global Cooperation in Environmental Protection," and "The Application of Artificial Intelligence in Closed Value Chains." During these events, he plans to share his ideas and engage in discussions with global economic leaders.

Business meetings are scheduled during the forum, where the minister will present the policies, projects, and initiatives of the Mongolian government in dialogue with global political, social, and economic figures, as well as leaders of international organizations.

Davos, where this forum has been held since 1971, is located in the eastern part of Switzerland in the Alps at an altitude of over 1500 meters above sea level and is famous for its ski resorts.

It is expected that more than 60 heads of state and government, 55 ministers of economy and finance, and over 800 senior executives will participate in this significant event.
