The condition of those hospitalized is assessed as stable, while another 5 people are receiving outpatient treatment.
According to reports, all those affected consumed shawarma purchased from this establishment on January 15, and symptoms of poisoning manifested within a day after eating.
The Bishkek State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance Center conducted an unscheduled inspection of the establishment, during which samples of raw materials, swabs from equipment, and remnants of finished products were taken. The staff was also examined. As a result of identified violations, three protocols were drawn up, and fines totaling 41,000 soms were imposed.
The fast food restaurant "Daamduu" has been closed and sealed since January 15. An epidemiological investigation is ongoing.
