This document updates the norms that have been in effect since February 2025 and aims to optimize the process of registering declarations, as well as to enhance the transparency and quality of the work of accredited certification bodies.
Among the main proposed innovations:
- applicants will be able to specify up to three technical regulations in one application, which will significantly simplify administrative procedures;
- new requirements for documents are being introduced — accredited bodies are required to provide detailed information from the Unified Register of the EAEU regarding the status of accreditation, as well as any changes, violations, and expert auditors;
- the composition of the expert commission will be clarified: it must include representatives of the authorized body, the national accreditation center, and technical experts;
- documents will be checked for compliance with the minimum testing requirements for each specified technical regulation, at least 70 percent;
- the validity period for the right to register declarations will be one year, and a reapplication can be submitted no earlier than six months after receiving the previous permit.
The draft has been prepared in accordance with the constitutional Law "On the Cabinet of Ministers" and is aimed at improving the quality of conformity assessment for products entering the market of the country and the EAEU.
