This document aims to improve state information policy, strengthen the printing base, as well as ensure the effective operation of state media and optimize budget expenditures.
The Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to merge several state media and publishing organizations. The merger will include the publishing house "Kyrgyz Tuusu," the publishing house "Slovo Kyrgyzstana," the children's magazine "Baichichekey," and the literary and artistic magazine "Ala-Too." Meanwhile, the editorial offices of the newspaper "Zhetkinchek" and the magazine "Kyrchyn" will be liquidated.
A new state publishing house "Kyrgyz Tuusu" will be created based on the merged structures. The Cabinet of Ministers is required to develop and approve the regulations for the new institution, as well as its staffing schedule and budget. At the same time, the staff of organizations in the field of culture, art, and information will increase by 22 positions.
The decree will come into effect upon its official publication.
