Starting from January 1, the decision will come into effect.
The President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, has canceled several decisions regarding the pilot administrative-territorial reform. This is evidenced by the signed decree.
In particular, the changes affect rural districts and cities across the country, including the temporary transfer of district and regional divisions of ministries and agencies under the control of local state administrations.
The following decisions have been canceled:
- decrees on conducting a pilot reform in the rural districts of the Issyk-Kul and Naryn regions;
- decisions to expand the pilot project to rural districts and cities throughout the republic;
- a decree on the temporary management of territorial divisions of ministries and agencies within the framework of this project.
The president's decree will come into effect on January 1, 2026.
