- At the latest meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, chaired by Adylbek Kasymaliev, the heads of structural divisions of the Presidential Administration, members of the Cabinet, and authorized representatives of the president in the regions participated.

The main agenda item was the discussion of the draft Law on Amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Electric Power Industry." Its goal is to develop renewable energy sources, specifically to increase the maximum capacity for facilities using such sources from 30 to 50 MW. This innovation is aimed at attracting large investors. Minister of Energy Talaybek Ibraev presented the project, which received support from the members of the Cabinet.

During the meeting, the results of the implementation of the Cabinet of Ministers' action plan for 2025 were also discussed, as addressed by the head of the Department of Political and Economic Research of the Presidential Administration, Nurbek Tashbekov.

The activities of ministries, state agencies, and the mayors of Bishkek and Osh were discussed in the context of fulfilling the tasks set by the Cabinet of Ministers. Despite positive results, disciplinary measures will be taken against some heads of departments.

Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasized that the methodology for assessing the implementation of the Action Plan was approved by a Cabinet decree. It allows for an annual assessment, which was applied this year.

“We have recorded numerous positive results, but there are also tasks that were not completed for a number of objective and subjective reasons. Our task is not to evaluate the work of government bodies, but to ensure the quality implementation of the National Development Program of the country through the execution of the Cabinet of Ministers' Action Plan. Strong executive discipline is the key to accelerating socio-economic development and improving the welfare of the people,” noted the chairman of the Cabinet.

Significant events were held as part of the Cabinet of Ministers' Action Plan for 2025. The assessment of the work of government bodies was based on 292 events. Monitoring and analysis of the implementation were carried out in areas such as industry, the agro-industrial sector, transport, energy, digitalization, investments, construction, and the social sphere.
