At the meeting, the results of the implementation of the Cabinet of Ministers' action plan for 2025 were also presented, with a report delivered by the head of the Department of Political and Economic Research of the Presidential Administration, Nurbek Tashbekov.
During the discussion, attention was drawn to the executive activities of ministries, state agencies, the Presidential representatives in the regions, and the mayors of Bishkek and Osh in the context of fulfilling the tasks set by the Cabinet of Ministers. Despite a number of positive results, the need for disciplinary measures against some heads of departments was stated.
The Chairman of the Cabinet, Adylbek Kasymaliev, noted that a methodology for assessing the implementation of the Action Plan has been approved, which will be applied annually. This year, such an assessment has already been conducted.
“There are many successful projects; however, there are also tasks that remain unfulfilled for objective and subjective reasons. Our main task is not only to evaluate the work of government agencies but also to ensure the implementation of the National Development Program of the country through the careful execution of the Cabinet of Ministers' Action Plan. Only with strong executive discipline can we accelerate socio-economic development and improve the well-being of the people,” stated Adylbek Kasymaliev.
As part of the Action Plan for 2025, several major events have been implemented. The assessment of the work of government agencies was conducted based on 292 activities, with monitoring and analysis in areas such as industry, agro-industrial complex, transport, energy, digitalization, investments, construction, and the social sphere.
