“What is happening with the Botanical Garden? In May 2022, a resolution was adopted on measures for its preservation and development, but no actions have been taken. In other countries, botanical gardens are being expanded and developed, while here we have decided to build football fields. This garden was created for scientific research. What kind of biodiversity development can we discuss under such conditions? I support the development of football, but no athlete has asked for such changes. There are other locations for football infrastructure,” the deputy stated.
He also appealed to the president to pay attention to this issue.
The Botanical Garden in Bishkek is located at two addresses: on Gorky Street and on Akhunbaev Street.
