At the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin, a meeting of the Board of Trustees took place, attended by Kamchybek Tashiev, who holds the position of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Chairman of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).

The meeting was opened by Kamchybek Tashiev himself, the chairman of the Board of Trustees. During the meeting, the participants summarized the university's activities for the year 2025 and discussed development directions for 2026.

The rector of the university, Sergey Volkov, presented the main achievements in education, science, and infrastructure, as well as plans for campus development, the opening of branches in regions, support for student startups, and the establishment of the Russian-Kyrgyz Center for Vocational Training.

Additionally, within the framework of the meeting, strategic partnerships of KRSU were confirmed and expanded.

A memorandum of cooperation was signed with the State Corporation "Rosatom," which includes the joint implementation of educational and engineering projects, including the creation of a project office in the field of hydropower. Agreements were also concluded for the Russian-Kyrgyz Center for Vocational Training project with PJSC "Kirovsky Plant" and relevant educational institutions.

Furthermore, roadmaps for cooperation with the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic and "Gazprom Kyrgyzstan" were approved, and a memorandum was signed with the company Wildberries, aimed at developing digital and entrepreneurial skills among students.

The decisions made solidified KRSU's transition to a long-term development model focused on the integration of education, science, and the real sector of the economy, strengthening the university's status as one of the leading educational centers in the region.
