In the Nookat district, the land plots of the central stadium, which were previously privatized, have been returned to municipal ownership. This was reported by Shukurullo Sattarov, the head of the Gulistan rural municipality in the Osh region.

According to Sattarov, all plots that previously belonged to eight private individuals have been returned. "We have reclaimed the land around the stadium, and now it is in municipal ownership. The areas where the gas station, car wash, and other facilities were located were previously divided into separate plots and were in private hands. We managed to return all of them, including eight facilities related to the stadium. All state documents have been updated. The total area amounted to 1 hectare and 90 ares. Currently, the parking lot and gas station are operational, and they will be ready to vacate the territory at any moment when given the appropriate notice," he noted.

Previously, the former head of the rural municipality, Ergeshaly Shanazarov, mentioned that in 2024, 15 ares of land belonging to the stadium were sold to private individuals and privatized.

"The main part of the stadium remains in municipal ownership. Unfortunately, in 1999, 15 ares of land adjacent to the road were sold. We are still continuing legal proceedings on this matter, and the case is currently under review in court. Our claim was partially satisfied; however, the process is dragging on," he commented.

The stadium was built in 1978. According to official data, despite some repairs carried out, it has not received proper maintenance for a long time.

At the opening ceremony of the renovated section of the Nookat—Kyzyl-Kiya road, held on September 13, 2025, it was stated: "If it is the will, next year we will build a modern and beautiful stadium."
