Previously, she held the position of head of the department of education, science, culture, sports, and youth in the presidential administration.
It is worth noting that recently the government of the country established a new state institution called the "Information-Publishing House 'Kyrgyz Tuusu'," the decision to create which was signed by Adylbek Kasymaliev.
This organization emerged as a result of the merger of two publishing houses — "Kyrgyz Tuusu" and "Slovo Kyrgyzstana," as well as the editorial offices of the magazines "Baichchekey" and "Ala-Too."
Galina Baiterek was born on July 19, 1971, in the village of Rovnom, located in the Panfilov district of the Chui region.
She has a higher education, which she obtained in 1996 at the Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn, majoring in "Russian Philology."
- From 1994 to 2001, she worked at the children's studio "Balastan" as a director, editor, and host, creating a number of children's television programs such as "Sami s usami," "To the Treasures of the Incas," "The Magnificent Seven," "I Want to Know Everything," as well as a program for teenagers "The Fifth Wall" and musical shows "Narisete Azemi," "Cheerful Notes."
- In 2002–2004, she was a reviewer for the "Daytime Block of TV Programs" of KTR, as well as the host of the analytical program "Theme of the Day."
- From 2004 to 2006, she worked as a director on the program "Arnoo Concerti" at the advertising and commercial agency KTR.
- In 2007–2008, she held the position of editor in the main editorial office of socio-economic and innovative programs, leading the programs "Ala-Too Plus," "The People Want to Know," "Accent" live.
- From 2009 to 2010, she worked as a reviewer at TRK "ElTR" and hosted the program "Results of the Week."
- From 2010 to 2015, she was a political reviewer in the main editorial office of socio-economic and innovative programs of KTRK, leading the programs "The People Want to Know," "CEC Reports," as well as all live broadcasts related to presidential elections and elections to the Jogorku Kenesh. She was also the author and host of the talk show "Free Microphone" and the presidential program "Strategy-2040."
- In October 2020, Galina was appointed press secretary of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- In May 2021, she took the position of head of the department of education, science, culture, sports, and youth in the administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
