A unified state publishing house 'Kyrgyz Tuusu' has been established in Kyrgyzstan.

The President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, has approved a decree initiating the creation of the state publishing house "Kyrgyz Tuusu." According to information from the president's press service, this decision is aimed at developing the country's information policy, improving the printing infrastructure, ensuring the stable operation of state media, and optimizing budget expenditures.

In accordance with this decree, the government is tasked with merging several significant media structures, including the publishing houses "Kyrgyz Tuusu" and "Slovo Kyrgyzstana," the children's magazine "Baichchekey," and the literary and artistic magazine "Ala-Too." A new unified state publishing house "Kyrgyz Tuusu" will be formed based on these organizations. At the same time, the activities of the editorial offices of the newspaper "Zhetkinchek" and the magazine "Kyrchin" will be discontinued.

During the reorganization, the Cabinet of Ministers must develop and approve the regulations for the new publishing house, as well as its staffing schedule and financial plan. The decree also provides for an increase in the staffing schedule of cultural and information organizations by 22 positions. The document comes into effect upon its official publication.
