At the first meeting of the World Council in Washington, chaired by Donald Trump, an agreement was reached that the army of Kazakhstan would engage in peacekeeping in the Gaza Strip, reports DW.

According to Trump, five countries, including Kazakhstan, agreed to send their troops to Gaza: Morocco, Albania, Kosovo, and Indonesia.

Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who attended the meeting, confirmed the country's readiness to send military contingents, including medical units and peacekeeping observers, to support the International Stabilization Forces. He also noted that Kazakhstan would provide financial assistance, food, and other humanitarian resources for the Gaza Strip, as well as participate in the reconstruction of the destroyed infrastructure.

Donald Trump announced that the countries of the World Council agreed to allocate $7 billion in aid to the Gaza Strip. Among the participants in the agreement are Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, the UAE, Morocco, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, and Kuwait. The United States will add $10 billion to this amount, and the UN will provide $2 billion. Additionally, FIFA will allocate $75 million for sports projects in the region.

The World Stabilization Forces will monitor the ceasefire and promote the establishment of sustainable peace in Gaza. Indonesia is ready to send between 5,000 and 8,000 of its military personnel, but the number of soldiers from other countries has not yet been specified. At the same time, many European countries, including France and Germany, are refusing to participate in the activities of the World Council.
